About

I started shooting film again after a long break, mostly because a digital camera made it too easy to take a hundred photographs and keep none. Thirty-six frames a roll is a good limit.

Everything here is done at home on a small budget: a secondhand rangefinder, a medium format folder that leaks light on humid days, a stainless steel tank and an enlarger that lives in a cupboard.

The notes are practical rather than polished. If something here is wrong, it is probably because I have not ruined enough film yet to find out.
